Credit Risk Analyst

Role

Due to continued growth with our firm, we are currently expanding our Risk Advisory Services team and looking for experienced Credit Risk Modellers to join the team. The successful candidate will have experience from either a retail bank or consultancy and will have had exposure to the entire credit risk model lifecycle.
We are interested in speaking to people from Consultant to Senior Manager Level.

Skillset

Quantitative education to post graduate degree level
Over 5 years’ experience in credit risk modelling within a bank or consultancy
PD/EAD/LGD model experience
Knowledge of impairment – actuals or forecasting
Experience of building credit risk models – scorecard, Basel, impairment or forecasting.
Advanced SAS user
Analytical mind-set to work with model input assumptions, challenge and sense check outputs
Very good communication / stakeholder management skills

Strategy and People

Raising the profile of the firm in its chosen markets by delivering quality work to our clients.
Developing trusted, influential and long term relationships with the firm’s clients that result in Parker Fitzgerald becoming the ‘go to’ firm within its core areas of expertise and service offerings.
Being an advocate for the firm at all times representing its core values.

Business Development

Supporting senior management in converting key sales opportunities both within the firm’s existing client base and wider market.
Contributes to specific client propositions, white papers and case studies in conjunction with the firm’s Commercial function.

Client Delivery

Takes overall delivery responsibility for the project
Tracks delivery against objectives and actively seeks feedback from line manager
Uses PFGs standard methodology/ approach when appropriate and applies quality assurance standards
Maintaining a continuous commitment to the excellence of the work undertaken and deliverables completed so that the firm’s senior client relationships are deepened and it is retained for future engagements

Thought Leadership

Demonstrates a clear desire to develop consulting skills across a breadth of the firm’s service lines. Is recognised as a thought leader within an area of specialisation within one of those service lines.
Constantly striving to increase technical and subject matter knowledge in relevant areas of the firm.
