Ashley is a Director at Parker Fitzgerald, responsible for leading all data projects within the Risk Technology practice. His current areas of focus are BCBS 239 risk data aggregation and associated data remediation initiatives to satisfy internal and external post-crisis regulatory reporting requirements.

Prior to joining Parker Fitzgerald, Ashley headed up Co-op Bank’s non-core data and MI division where he worked with front-office teams to generate investor data tapes to support the deleveraging of corporate and retail assets. He was responsible for ensuring all non-core bank reporting delivered to key stakeholders – including the bank’s board, executive committees and the regulators – was accurate and on time. Ashley also sponsored and ran projects to improve the data quality of key asset classes for the bank, including real estate, renewable energy, project finance and social housing.

Ashley has worked at a number of major financial institutions in his career, most notably Lloyds Banking Group where he played an integral role in a number of complex change programmes, including the implementation of Basel II loss given default models for the wholesale bank and the integration of data repositories within the portfolio management function after the merger with HBOS.

Ashley studied computer systems engineering at The University of Warwick.
