Chris is a Partner in Parker Fitzgerald’s Global Solutions Group, with responsibility for the delivery of large-scale Digital Innovation programmes. Chris has spent over 15 years in the financial services industry working principally for Global Tier 1 Banks, which has provided him with experience and understanding of disruptive change across Global Markets, Commercial Banking, Retail Banking, Insurance, Islamic Finance, E-commerce and the FinTech ecosystem.

Chris has a passion for Big Data, Analytics, Digital, New & Emerging Technologies and Agile Methodologies. Chris thrives in helping clients change and grow their businesses and respond effectively to Regulatory Compliance through the innovative application of data, analytics and technology. Chris leads our RegTech offering with a specific focus on Risk Data Aggregation & Reporting, Customer Onboarding, Financial Crime and the New and Changing Regulatory Environment. This includes Technology that: a) simplifies and assists firms in managing and exploiting their existing data, supporting better decision making and finding those who are not playing by the rules easier; real-time compliance monitoring and trade surveillance systems are examples; b) drives efficiencies in Regulatory Compliance by seeking to close the gap between the intention of the regulatory requirements and the subsequent interpretation and implementation within firms; semantic technologies and robo-advice are examples here and c) innovates and allows regulation and compliance processes to be delivered differently and more efficiently; machine-readable regulation and expanded use of biometrics for identity verification purposes are examples here.
