James Clark
Managing Director
James is a Partner at Parker Fitzgerald with expertise in business strategy, integration, credit risk and consumer lending. He has practical experience to identify and deliver P&L benefits through digital innovation, business integration and product transformation.

James has over 15 years of experience in management consulting and the financial services industry, where he has led major programmes for Lloyds Banking Group, RBS and Metro Bank. His career started in strategic policy with the Australian Department of Defence, before moving to the UK to pursue a career in consulting with Accenture.

James has a track record of engaging Board-level executives to design and support the delivery of target operating models, new processes, business transition, operational improvements, complex programmes and benefits realisation across both established and challenger UK Banks.

At Parker Fitzgerald, James has led the development and delivery of mortgage credit risk strategy for a major UK retail bank; the development of a digital, FinTech solution to support origination for UK-based mortgage lenders, and; the credit risk due diligence and end-to-end integration of a significant credit card business on behalf of a major UK retail bank.

James holds a BA in Economic History and Politics from the University of Sydney and an MA in International Relations from the University of New South Wales.
